Abdur-Rahim also known as "Reef" by his friends and teammates is one of eight children of Aminah and William Abdur-Rahim. His first name means "noble" and his last name means "servant of the most merciful one". If not an NBA player he would have proved his worth as a physical therapist. He started his own foundation called Future Foundation which supports United Way and Boys and Girls Clubs. Other than basketball he likes to watch movies, listening to rap music, shoot pool in his spare time and collecting basketball jerseys. He also loves spaghetti dinner with chicken wings on the side and Jell-O for dessert.
